May was a month jam-packed with speaking engagements – and a dash of fun. From traveling to Boston, NYC, Hamburg, Germany and a few epic meals out, here are my photo highlights.
BOSTON
It’s always interesting returning to a place that you lived in for 13 years. No longer a resident, but not quite a tourist, I’ll always have a special place in my heart for a Boston and a desire to visit a few times annually. Here are highlights from my weekend back in Beantown.
The Arrival I took a daytime flight from Virgin Atlantic. As I settled into my seat, it was one of those amazing traveler moments where I had a row of three seats all to myself. Oh, and as we took off, the crew announced that we also had in-flight wi-fi (for a fee). A brilliant flight on so many levels, thank you Virgin Atlantic!
What’s your vision for making Boston kinder? Is it topping off parking meters, putting out water bowls for dogs on a hot day, or surprising busy commuters with a free Charlie Card? It’s these ideas – and more – that are the inspiration for KIND’s new #KINDBoston campaign. I was lucky enough to be a guest at the Red Sox game on Tuesday, July 29, where KIND launched this initiative with the help of a little star power.
I often mention the Christian Science Plaza and get a, “Huh? Where?” type response from fellow Bostonians. Regardless of your interest in the Christian Science religion (the massive building is the church’s Global HQ, built in 1894 and expanded in 1906), the scenic plaza, surrounding reflecting pool and fountain in the summer make it a fun place for a stroll.
