#KINDBoston: What’s Your Vision for Making Boston Kinder?

KIND photo 1 What’s your vision for making Boston kinder? Is it topping off parking meters, putting out water bowls for dogs on a hot day, or surprising busy commuters with a free Charlie Card? It’s these ideas – and more – that are the inspiration for KIND’s new #KINDBoston campaign. I was lucky enough to be a guest at the Red Sox game on Tuesday, July 29, where KIND launched this initiative with the help of a little star power.

To participate, Bostonians are invited to share their vision for making Boston a kinder place to live and work via Twitter with the hashtag #KINDBoston through August 31. Ideas both big and small are encouraged! For every kind act submitted, KIND will donate a piece of sporting equipment (up to $5,000) to the Red Sox Foundation’s RBI (Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities) program, which teaches inner-city youth the importance of being kind on and off the field.

Yup, Tim Wakefield even submitted his own #KINDBoston idea!

In addition, the folks at KIND told me that they are also going to bring some of the #KINDBoston ideas to life during August. I’m really excited to see how this comes to life and how to inspires more random acts of kindness in Boston. It truly is the little things that make a difference!
