While Boston has many sushi restaurants to choose from, I have a soft spot for Snappy Sushi on Newbury Street in Boston’s Back Bay. Thanks to a well timed Gilt City Boston offer, I seized the opportunity to invite a friend out for a delicious dinner out on the town.
A recent brunch with my Father reminded me just how much I adore Cinquecento – even if I have a hard time pronouncing this delicious restaurant’s name. From it’s Italian brunch entrees, to friendly staff and gorgeous interior, our meal out was a great reminder to try Cinquecento for more than just dinner or drinks.
When I was invited to speak at Social Media Marketing World in San Diego, my thoughts centered around the fabulous event, amazing speakers and oh, a touch of warm weather (it’s been a pretty brutal winter in Boston, hasn’t it?). What I didn’t expect was how enamored I would be with the area – especially La Jolla. From hikes along the beach, to delicious al fresco meals and a few sunsets to remember, I have a good feeling that I’ll be back.
For my weekly Social Image of the Week column on Convince&Convert, I’m covering the Dublin Airport’s PSA campaign to ensure the country’s beloved holiday was being referred to correctly. For more information on how this campaign reached more than one million people on Facebook alone, please click here to read the post.

Once again, SXSW was a whirlwind – in a good way. This year was different for me because I was there for a very special reason: promoting the launch of our new book, The Power of Visual Storytelling! Yes, that’s correct – I co-wrote a book! When publishing a book, it seems par for the course to do a fabulous book launch event. We ended up receiving three amazing “launch event” opportunities to sign and give away our book at SXSW among our community of industry friends and influencers. As the photos below will show, we had an incredible time. How can it not be an incredible time when Ekaterina and I are together? 🙂
