I’m always excited when new restaurants open in Boston that bring a little something special to the table. Such is the case with Liquid Art House, which opens today at 100 Arlington Street in the Back Bay. Part restaurant and part art gallery with a stunning bar, I was thrilled to attend the sneak preview event with one of my favorite local bloggers, B Loved Boston. Here’s why!
When you walk into Liquid Art House, you’re immediately welcomed with a gorgeous round bar space with high ceilings, a dramatic Murano glass chandelier and walls adorned with modern art. The vibe is high end and chic with a hint of edginess from the art.
The dining room area is large, with a mix of tables and velvet banquettes. Art is hung throughout the restaurant and is expected to change every six to eight weeks. The current exhibit, “Outside In,” was curated by Ana-Katarina Vinkler-Petrovic and features street art from around the world.
Overall, I absolutely loved the bar area and could see myself meeting friends there for drinks. Although we didn’t get to try any food from the restaurant, there’s been a lot of buzz about chef Rachel Klein and I would definitely be open to going back and trying it out. I have a feeling Liquid Art House is quickly going to become a new hot spot in town.
Liquid Art House is located at 100 Arlington Street in the Back Bay (adjacent to Stuart Street). For more information on the menu, check out this handy Boston.com article, or the Liquid Art House Facebook page.
