I’m always excited when new restaurants open in Boston that bring a little something special to the table. Such is the case with Liquid Art House, which opens today at 100 Arlington Street in the Back Bay. Part restaurant and part art gallery with a stunning bar, I was thrilled to attend the sneak preview event with one of my favorite local bloggers, B Loved Boston. Here’s why!

Say hello to my favorite new bootie from Cole Haan! With weather that just doesn’t want to warm up, I’ve been living in these booties ever since purchasing them. With a black suede buffed outer sole, these boots come up about an inch or so above my ankle and look fantastic when paired with black skinny jeans or leggings. In addition to being super chic, these boots are also incredibly comfortable as a result of the Nike AIR technology inside. Which, as city girls know, is a must when purchasing shoes. If I can’t walk a mile in them, they’re just not worth it!
The booties are currently available in the black or maple sugar (nude) brushed suede on sale for $199.95 on Cole Haan’s website, while prices vary for the traditional black leather version on Amazon. The boots also come in a lovely brown leather that have me tempted to purchase another pair! If only they came in my size 8!
The SavvyBostonian purchased the Cole Haan Cassidy Bootie from the Cole Haan store at 109 Newbury Street in Boston’s Back Bay on sale for $199.95.
Statement necklaces are a simple and stylish way to perk up your wardrobe. While there are many fabulous statement necklaces on the market, Forever21 always seems to have inexpensive pieces. From a mint pop of color, to turquoise, gold flowers and pearls, check out these cheerful finds.
First up is the Regal Bib Necklace, pictured to the left. At $12.80, it offers a nice pop of color, especially for someone who frequently wears black! Check it out here on Forever21’s website.
My new bracelet is the height of social media geek chic – a make your own hashtag bracelet from BCBGeneration! Purchased on sale from Nordstrom for about $10, the bracelet comes with the entire alphabet and a few special characters, such as the heart pictured. I decided to keep mine simple with my name and love how it pairs perfectly with my favorite dual-faced Urban Outfitters watch.
In addition to the make your own option, I also purchase a grey and rose gold #chic bracelet. Although some of the unbelievable deals from Nordstrom have come and gone, click here to get the bracelet from Zappos for $25. Macy’s has a fun tan and gold #swag bracelet for $12. I’m #tempted to snag it for myself!

Although this cocktail is no longer on the menu at The Beehive, I’m going to let you in on a little secret. You can still order it! Called the Beehive Julep, it contains with rum, clementine liqueur, OJ, muddled mint, orange, and limes and ice. The end result is slightly sweet, refreshing and a touch tart. It’s been a favorite for years.
Want to make one at home? Here’s the recipe. Want to try it from the experts? Visit the Beehive, located at 541 Tremont Street, in Boston’s South End. Definitely try to go on a night when there’s live jazz as well – you won’t be disappointed!
