London: Brunching at Jackson and Rye

As an American expat in London, one of my favorite Sunday rituals is brunch. A time to gather with your girlfriends, catch-up and gossip a bit. Upon moving to London, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that there are tons of great spots for brunch, including Jackson and Rye in Soho.

Interestingly, Jackson and Rye describes itself as, “Bringing a flavour of the USA to London.” However, when presented with this delicious coffee, one has to feel like J&R is bringing its own distinct style to the table.

London: Sticks ‘n’ Sushi

When booking dinner plans with a friend visiting London, we decided to try Sticks’n’Sushi in Covent Garden. Between the friendly service, comical menus and delicious food, it’s definitely a solid spot for a date night, or catch-up with friends.

London: A Delightful New Year’s Dinner at NOPI

I’ll be honest, I’m not the biggest fan of New Year’s Eve. In my opinion, it’s a little over-hyped and I’ve always thought that people put a little too much pressure on themselves to have a perfect night. So, when a dear friend suggested that we opt for a late dinner at NOPI in London, I knew this was the right mix of festive and fun without going too crazy!
