Ah, Malibu! What a magical place.
In October 2019, I found myself driving down the PCH (Pacific Coast Highway) on a gorgeous, sunny day with the dream of exploring different beaches in Malibu. Here’s what I discovered.

How have I lived in the UK for five years and never visited Oxford? As fate would have it, my UK visa program, now called The Global Talent Visa (formerly Tech Nation Visa), was hosting an event at the university and a group of us decided to go earlier to see more of Oxford. This happened in late January 2020, before COVID-19. Our day ended up being so much fun and I wanted to share some highlights with you, should you want to plan a day trip to Oxford!

Allow me to introduce you to one of my new favorite restaurants in London: Bao & Bing!
Located in Marylebone, Bao & Bing is a Taiwanese street food restaurant with delicious cocktails. I’ve had the pleasure of eating at Bao & Bing twice now and both times have been incredible. I’ve curated a delicious assortment of photos and recommendations for you. Warning: If you’re not hungry you will be by the end!

As someone who loves catching up with friends over a good meal or an innovative cocktail, London has no shortage of wonderful places to visit (and re-visit)! If you’re new to The SavvyBostonian Blog, I keep a massive London Guide which links to allllll of my recommended places in London. From restaurants to places to excellent cocktails, things to do and more, I’ve got you covered. For my latest additions to my London Guide, I’m adding my favorite Marylebone anytime spot, two fabulous Italian restaurants with very different vibes, an incredible Greek restaurant and a trendy Chelsea spot made famous by a certain reality TV show. Read on – but be warned, the food photos will make you hungry!

If you like fresh and healthy greek food in the form of sharable small plates, you’re in luck. I recently discovered Opso in Marylebone and am now smitten. Between a vibrant atmosphere, innovative cocktails with greek liquors and a wide range of sharable small plates, Opso ticks off many boxes.
Opso is located in Marylebone and its inspiration comes from its name, which means, “a delectable morsel of food, a delicacy.” The restaurant serves breakfast/weekend brunch, lunch and dinner. I went recently for dinner and a drink at the bar. Here’s what I ordered.
