2025: A Year of Yes, Joy & Becoming – Travel, Traditions & the Magic in Between

I didn’t expect 2025 to begin surrounded by half-dressed people on the London Underground, yet there I was, unintentionally swept into the famous No Pants Tube Ride. Equal parts hilarious and mortifying, it turned out to be the perfect metaphor for the year ahead: unexpected, joyful, and a reminder not to take life quite so seriously.

Looking back now, 2025 wasn’t about ticking boxes or chasing milestones. It was about saying yes to moments, to people, to celebration, and to the kind of experiences that make a year feel full rather than fast.

Favorite Things: Keep Calm & Carry On Charlie Card, Metro Card & Oyster Card Envelope

I love all things Keep Calm and Carry On, so you can imagine my delight upon discovering the perfect card case to carry my Charlie Card (Boston), Metro Card (NYC), or Oyster Card (London). At two pounds, I swept up this cheerfully red card case during a trip to London at a little shop in the Baker Street tube station. Wouldn’t you agree that it’s especially important to Keep Calm and Carry on while on public transit? 🙂

And, for the record, my personal Keep Calm collection also extends to a magnet and reusable sigg bottle. I also have a Keep Calm and Drink Coffee magnet for my desk at work, plus a Keep Calm and Have a Cupcake notebook for my never-ending to-do lists (thanks G & S!).
