Girls’ Spa Weekend in Bath: The Ultimate Relaxing 2-Day Escape

There’s a certain kind of weekend you book when everyone is tired, no one wants a packed itinerary, and the goal is simple: to come home feeling better than when you left. That’s exactly what our girls’ spa weekend in Bath was about.

Bath has a way of slowing you down without isolating you. Bath has a charming city centre which is perfect for exploring in between periods of peak relaxation at the spa. In the blog post, I’ll share where we stayed, where we went to eat, plus nice places to see and shop at in Bath. If you want additional travel tips for sightseeing, I’ll also leave my blog post on my day trip to Bath with other resources at the end.

AC Hotel Riga Marriott Review: Is It Worth Staying Here?

Hello from Riga! This was my very first time in Latvia, and also my first time in Riga, so choosing the right hotel felt especially important. After a smooth arrival, I checked into the AC Hotel by Marriott Riga, a centrally located property that is part of the Marriott Bonvoy portfolio. From the moment I arrived, the experience set a positive tone for my stay.

The check-in process was warm and welcoming, and the staff immediately made me feel at ease. That first impression matters, especially when you are arriving in a new country for the first time, and it is something this hotel does very well.

Staying at the Harbour Hotel St. Ives: Your Ultimate Cornwall Escape

After a scenic train ride from Newquay to St. Ives, I arrived at the Harbour Hotel St. Ives, a boutique-style hotel perched on the hillside above Porthminster Beach. In true small-town fashion, I even met a member of staff on the train who pointed out a shortcut from the station to the hotel. Hint: it involves stairs, so it is best attempted if you’ve packed light.

I paid for my stay myself. Therefore, this review is an unsponsored account of my experience. Below, I’ll take you through the room, amenities, dining, location, and share my verdict on whether the Harbour Hotel St. Ives is worth booking for your Cornwall escape. As a bonus, I’ll embed my video reviews of this hotel, plus my St. Ives travel vlogs and blog posts at the end to help you as you plan a trip to this magical place.

Does that sound good? Let’s jump in!
