Every time I truly need a break, I escape to London. Friends may tease, or tell me to travel somewhere else, but I never seem to tire of London. From strolling through beautiful parks, cafes, markets, museums, and more, here are a few highlights from my recent trip to London….
If you’ve never used canned pumpkin as a lower fat/calorie baking swap, I’m about to rock your world. Applesauce, mashed bananas, and other fruit purees get all the love when it comes to healthier baking substitutions, but I find canned pumpkin to be the top swap for brownies, carrot cake, and spice cake.
In this blog post, I’ll walk you through how to make amazing canned pumpkin brownie bites, plus the best ingredients/brands to use. Are you hungry yet? Check it out!
Life’s about simple pleasures, right? Whether you entertain a lot, or are looking for a new way to ‘spice’ up your daily H2O, I’ve got an idea for you: cucumber water. Inspired by my former roommate Gabi, adding a few thin cucumber slices to a pitcher or glass of water generates wonderful results. The water is not overwhelmingly cucumber flavored, the taste is more like an essence. Somewhat luxurious and spa-like, yet incredible simple, there’s a wow factor associated with cucumber water. Just ask my mom’s book club (hi mom!).
Have you ever tried cucumber water? If so, what did you think?

Whenever I’m with my girl B, there’s no doubt that it’s going to be a good night. Often spotted taking Boston stylishly by storm, we recently spent a Tuesday night stopping into two new-ish spots in the Back Bay: The Brahmin and Red Lantern.
Last week was very busy – the good kind of busy. The kind of busy that results in a satisfying sense of accomplishment. I was fortunate to speak (twice!) at and attend GSMI’s Social Media Strategies Summit in Boston. Featuring dynamic social media experts from across the country, I spent three days meeting new people and catching up with industry friends, all while soaking up as much as possible.
As someone who considers herself to be a lifelong learner, I love the educational yet inspirational nature of a good conference. Through the conference, I was able to meet and re-connect with some amazing people from the Boston Celtics, Definition 6, Intel, NCAA, Mercedes-Benz, Panera Bread, Seven for All Mankind, Silk/White Wave Foods, and many more.
