I had the pleasure of stopping in Boston for a few days before heading home for Christmas. From festive decor to delightful cocktails and meals out, here are a few highlights from my stay.

After a wonderful hike on the Ochre Trail, it was time to explore the town of Roussillon. Earning the designation as one of the most beautiful villages in France (Les Plus Beaux Villages de France), Roussillon is located in Languedoc-Roussillon region and dates back to 600 BC. Today, the village is known for its charming architecture and the colorful buildings in the hues of the ochre pigment famous in the region.

Sometimes you just need a quick, healthy, “no cook” meal that can be prepared in a few minutes. When I am short on time and want a fresh, healthy lunch, I turn to this open-faced vegetarian sandwich with hummus, tomato, cucumber, and feta. With toasted whole grain bread and a drizzle of BBQ sauce for a touch of sweetness, this sandwich has just the right amount of crunch, savory and sweet.

As another month comes to a close, I am excited to share my fab finds. In September, I scored a mix of lovely new skincare and beauty items, plus chic apparel and footwear classics. From a fab moisturizer for dry skin, to an anti-aging wonder, the absolute best concealer for covering dark eye circles, two amazing brow makeup items, my favorite jeans, a chic blazer, the perfect fall blouse and the most comfortable ballet flats, here are my nine fab finds of September 2017.

Google Provence and you will be flooded with gorgeous images of lavender fields and historic villages artfully carved into mountains. However, what you might not see unless you scroll back a very long way are the stunning orange and yellow cliffs and quarries found in the Ochres of the Luberon. Inspired by their beauty, I ventured to the lovely town of Roussillon to take a hike on the Ochre Trail, or Le Sentier des Ocres.
