Holiday Hotness by GroupieL0ve
I always like to give my parents something slightly personalized with their Christmas presents. Last year, I gave them Crate & Barrel photo ornaments with sentimental family photos inside. This year for Christmas, my mother made my job easy by proactively requesting an, “Upbeat holiday mix CD with cover songs by some, new, hip, artists.” Fair enough.
Instead of doing the work myself, I reached out to GroupieL0ve, a ‘juicy’ Bostonian blogista, and budding music expert, to help me create the perfect holiday music soundtrack. To my delight, GroupieL0ve was up to the challenge, and uncovered some holiday hidden gems that would have taken me awhile to track down. Picks on her ‘Holiday Hotness vol. While not all ornaments are available online, the Crate and Barrel on 777 Boylston Street in Boston has an excellent selection of holiday ornaments and present options. Quite honestly, it’s a great place to go for last-minute present inspiration. My mother recently got a cute mini fondue set there for a friend for under $20!
