Staying At The Hotel Beverly Terrace In Los Angeles

Allow me to introduce you to the lovely boutique hotel that I stayed at while in LA. Located in oh-so-posh Beverly Hills, The Hotel Beverly Terrace has charming rooms, free wi-fi, a wonderful free breakfast, and an all-around great vibe. In this blog post, I’ll share my honest review of my stay. Keep an eye at the end of this post for a YouTube video where I take you around the hotel and inside my hotel room.

The Location

The Hotel Beverly Terrace is located in Beverly Hills at the intersection of North Doheny Drive and Santa Monica Boulevard. On this trip, I planned to spend my time in West Hollywood, Santa Monica, and Malibu. The Hotel Beverly Terrace offered a good option for going to all of these places, especially West Hollywood, as I was only minutes away from all of the restaurants I wanted to go to.

For The Hotel Beverly Terrace, it says on the website that valet parking is $25 per day. This was far cheaper than other hotels in the area! I found the valet parking to be necessary, but if you are more familiar with the area, leave a comment down below and share your tips with us!

The Hotel

The Hotel Beverly Terrace is a boutique property with 39 guest rooms and a lovely mid-century modern decor throughout. While the standard rooms are smaller in size, I loved how the hotel has a beautiful inner courtyard and a roof terrace, offering guests options for places to hang out when they do not want to be in their rooms.

As an FYI to guests with mobility or accessibility constraints, I did not see an elevator during my stay and would recommend that you call before booking if this is of concern to you. When you enter the hotel, there is a ground floor reception, followed by one flight of stairs to the next level and then another one to two flights of stairs to the guest rooms. The hotel staff was very happy to help me with my luggage, as I had a big suitcase and a carry-on suitcase. I had no issues with the stairs otherwise.

The Rooms

I book a King room and opted for the non-refundable option due to the fact that hotels were SO expensive during my time in LA. My grand total for the room, checking in on Thursday and checking out on Saturday (so, two nights) was £403.74 (paid for by moi). Here is my link to the hotel: https://www.booking.com/hotel/us/beverly-terrace.en.html?aid=7991514&no_rooms=1&group_adults=2

While Hotels.com lists this property as a 3-star hotel, I think it should be 4-star! The rooms were of incredibly high quality. Even though the room is small in size, the bed was one of the most comfortable hotel room beds I have ever slept in. The quality of the sheets and linens was first-class and I appreciated how the Hotel Beverly Terrace efficiently used the space in the rooms.

For example, the closet came with an iron, ironing board, safe and mini-fridge, plus ample space and hangers to hang your clothes. Now, if you were two people, it would be cozier, but again, you have a lot of communal areas should you need to chill outside of the room.

I will call out that my room (#48) was on the side of the busy Santa Monica boulevard. You could absolutely hear street noise, however, turning on the AC muted almost all of it. If you are a light sleeper, you may want to request a room facing the inner courtyard or another side of the hotel instead.

The Breakfast

Waking up to enjoy the free breakfast in The Hotel Beverly Terrace’s dreamy inner courtyard was something I looked forward to both mornings of my stay. I brought my iPad with me, as the wifi worked really well and caught up on the news while enjoying the free continental breakfast.

During my stay, the breakfast consisted of cereals, pastries, fresh fruit, yogurt, toast, coffee, tea, juice, and was lovely. There was also a special item of the day each day, with one of them being waffle shots, with a triangle of a waffle paired with a shot glass with maple syrup. Often, free continental breakfasts are just “basic,” and while this one had many of the same basic ingredients, there was so much more style and love put into it. For those that must have eggs to start the day, you could pay a fee to have those cooked to order, plus other dishes like avocado toast, etc.

Final Thoughts

Overall, I was really happy with my hotel selection while in LA. The Hotel Beverly Terrace was the perfect place to come home to after a long day exploring Los Angeles. I would absolutely stay here again!
