As an expat in London for almost two years now, one of my most delightful discoveries has been seeing how decked out the city gets at Christmas time. From the most incredible twinkling lights breathing excitement into prominent shopping streets, to massive Christmas trees in iconic squares, here are a few highlights from my recent festive jaunts around London.
Yours truly savoring a moment of bustling Oxford Street shut down to car and bus traffic to snap the perfect London holiday photo!
The Covent Garden Christmas Tree
The interior of Covent Garden Market with oversized mistletoe. Cheeky – and fabulous!
Regent’s Street is hands-down my favorite street for holiday lights thus far. Simply stunning.

Back to Regent’s Street – just divine.
Carnaby Street’s Christmas Revolution is also so much fun and worth a visit. Between the many shops along Carnaby Street and Kingly Court, to the iconic Christmas floor at Liberty of London, this is a great area to explore too!
