London has its fair share of quirky yet delicious restaurant concepts and Burger + Lobster is definitely one of them. On a Sunday, I went with a few friends to the new Little Portland Street outpost.
True to its name, Burger + Lobster only serves two things: burgers and lobsters – both a steamed lobster and a lobster roll. All offerings are priced the same – £20 each and come with a side salad and chips (French fries for my American readers!). Vegetarians beware – there are not any vegetarian options – unless you’re down to eat a side salad and chips.
Also hilarious? Whether you order a lobster or not, each diner is given a bib. Ya know, just in case. Which, is kind of clutch, as all menu offerings are a tad messy.
I opted for a cheeseburger and it was delicious. Massive, juicy and way more than I could eat. The chips (french fries!) and side salad were also fantastic.
One of my more adventurous friends opted for the lobster and said it was amazing. The portions are also quite generous and reasonably priced for lobster!
Burger + Lobster is part of a chain with similarly themed locations all over London. I went to the location at 6 Little Portland Street in Oxford Circus.
