While London has no shortage of wonderful parks and gardens, Kensington Palace Gardens stands out for its uniqueness. From the Shrunken Garden, which was planted in 1908 to resemble a similar garden at Hampton Court Palace, to the whimsical Cradle Walk with its ivy covered arches, Kensington Palace Gardens makes for a great place to explore. Here are a few photos from my visit.
It’s worth noting that the Kensington Palace Gardens are not large. However, there are so many things to do around Kensington Palace Gardens to take advantage of. The Orangery, located adjacent to the gardens, is a lovely spot for breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea. If you’ve never been to Kensington Palace, it also makes for a great way to spend a few hours immersing yourself in the history of the palace.
However, if the sun happens to be shining, enjoying a leisurely stroll through Hyde Park is never a bad idea!
