July was another busy month of travel, with a trip to NYC/CT, Paris and Munich. I also had a visitor in London, which allowed me to do a bit more sightseeing around town. Here are the photo highlights.
I started the month in style with cocktails at Peony, a hidden gem of a cocktail bar tucked into Opium in Chinatown.
I also went back to Opso for some delicious food and drinks – just as good the second time!
My first trip of the month was to CT and NYC, where I got to spend some quality time with family (and take care of some business in NYC).
While in CT, I went for a long walk along Lock 12.
And played some tennis.
Then, it was off to NYC, where the warm weather made for some nice evening walks.
And a steak dinner with friends that ran far too late into the evening.
After a brief touchdown in London, it was off to Paris for work. Such a rough life I live.
Once back in London, I was lucky to have a friend visit. We decided to take the tube to Embankment and then walk along the South Bank to Tower Bridge. This little gem of a photo opp can be found adjacent to Borough Market near Vinopolis (or where Vinopolis used to be).
We also went for a fantastic sushi dinner at Sticks’n’Sushi in Covent Garden.
Followed by a delightful brunch at Jackson & Rye in Soho.
Then, I rounded off the month with a few days in Munich at #SNMUC – Social Secrets, where I spoke about Creating Remarkable Customer Experiences with Content. Check out the video from my talk here.
