Chestertons Polo in the Park is an annual polo event at The Hurlingham Club. Compared to other polo events during the season, the dress code is ‘smart casual’ and if you’re there on Saturday, it’s quite a party. We lucked out this year with incredible sunshine and warm temperatures. Here are my photo highlights from the event.
Sunshine and warm temperatures result in a happy girl!

Stomping divots on the field!
In case you’re wondering what to wear to polo, here are a few tips. I’m always chilly, so I wore a navy maxi dress from Anthropologie with an ivory blazer and nude wedges (for stomping divots, of course!). Most women tend to wear a dress, either cocktail attire, maxi or midi. Think summertime/garden chic. For men, jeans or khakis are ok, but no trainers. Most men tend to wear a dress shirt and/or sport coat as well. Think preppy and classic here with a warm weather vibe (e.g. navy or tan vs. black sport coat).
**Note** This is not like a Royal Ascot where women wear hats. It’s smart casual all the way. More tips n the Polo In The Park website.
All in all, Polo in the Park was a great time. For more information on the event, click here.
