May was a month jam-packed with speaking engagements – and a dash of fun. From traveling to Boston, NYC, Hamburg, Germany and a few epic meals out, here are my photo highlights.
Sunshine and car selfies!
The month started with yet another flight on Virgin Atlantic to the USA – this time, Boston.
Boston was amazing. Between a great new hotel find and quality time with friends, I had a blast. Read about my travels here.
Then, I arrived in NYC just in time to toast to Cinco de Mayo with my colleagues!
While Cinco de Mayo was fun, the real reason I was in NYC was to speak about Content Marketing in the Era of Infobesity at LinkedIn Finance Connect. As this was a unique talk, I actually wrote it up and embedded the presentation here.
After briefly touching down in London for a few days, it was off to Hamburg to speak about Creating Remarkable Customer Experiences with Content. Click on that link if you want to read my full talk – I wrote it up!
While in Hamburg I also learned a valuable lesson – when asked to pimp your burger, the answer is always yes!
Then, I was very lucky to have a friend visit me in London, where we went out to a lovely, gourmet Indian restaurant in Marylebone called Trishna. Delicious!!
The month’s gourmet adventures continued with a fantastic three-course meal at Baltic.
And delicious pizza with my colleagues at Pizza East in Kentish Town.
After all of that eating, I also squeezed in one more speaking engagement – in London this time at the Chartered Institute of PR.
Last but not least, it wouldn’t be a month in London without a walk in my favorite park!
